Crime Stoppers is a community-based organization which gives people an anonymous, confidential way to get information to investigators without ever having to get involved as a witness. The program’s toll free number - 1-800-222-TIPS - is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week and cash rewards of up to $2000 are offered for information that leads to an arrest or charge. And Crime Stoppers takes information on any crime including things like robbery, assault, break and enter and drug trafficking.
January is Crime Stoppers Awareness Month around the world.
